STORIES
VANITY DOESN'T AGE
Santos, Brazil
Sick and tired of seeing only young people being used in fashion, I portrait Brazilian fashion inspired by the women I saw on the street everyday.
They are captured from an observer's point of view and I direct them in situations that we usually see in the street everyday like having a coffee with a friend with a corresponding body language that creates a story.
Taking distance using a tele lens creates a lack of depth of fields to make it even more voyeuristic. The location is chosen inspired from their daily activities. Sunlight makes it more dramatic.
